The experience of making ApoXoqA was extremely enjoyable, and almost immediatly upon its conclusion we began work on a follow-up. We began filming in Summer 2004 on a digital camera. The aim was to make a much longer film consisting of sketches written by everyone involved. This proved frustrating because very little material was written.
In early 2005, plans began to take shape for further production. With my temporary exit from University, I purchased a Digital Camcorder and set about writing as much material as possible. A working title of "A Hat Made of Mexico" was decided upon, and that name appears to have stuck. In Summer 2005, production began once again, this time far more successfully, with two whole sketches completed by the time I started at Strathclyde Uni.
Production continued on and off through the end of 2005 and early 2006. Currently the film is sitting at 90% complete, and awaiting one final sketch. The release plans for this film consist of a premiere viewing upon its completion, and a bells-and-whistles DVD version for our friends and anyone else interested.
